Much like in the Persian Gulf and its bottleneck Strait of Hormuz, there is a constant rhythm of ebb and flow in the American-Iranian war, with hopes of diplomatic settlements turning into military flare-ups and vice versa. Almost two months after a ceasefire has been declared, the relationship between Washington and Tehran continues to twist and turn around further talks and yet further talks and the constantly looming threat of triggers being squeezed once again.
