Israel’s economy has surprisingly withstood the blows striking global commerce and finance in recent years, including Covid-19, uncertainty in the oil market and disruptions in supply chains. But can the Israeli economy thrive when the domestic political scene is perennially unstable and when individual households complain that they do not reap the fruits of macro-economic success?
