Hezbollah Forcibly Dragging Lebanon into War on Iran’s Behalf

In Hezbollah’s case, the proverbial rock and a hard place are Lebanon and Iran. The terror organization, which is also a political party, claims to protect the Shiites of Lebanon and by extension the entire failed state, while at the same time being beholden to its sponsors in Tehran. Now, just when the Beirut government was at long last starting to help Lebanon emerge from decades of strife and corruption, Hezbollah once again mobilized in order to join the Islamic Republic in its war against Israel, with death and destruction resulting on both sides of the border. With the IDF now preparing to send ground forces deeper inland into Hezbollah territory, what are the prospects for this front in the Israeli-Iranian conflict?
