The fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is holding for the time being, while efforts are underway to locate, exhume and repatriate the remains of Israeli hostages who were murdered either before or during their captivity. As the International Stability Force slowly takes shape, there is an obvious need to synchronize the foreign policies of the United States and Israel.
