When President Trump unveiled his Gaza ceasefire proposal, marketing it as an unprecedented move to peacefully end a conflict which has roots going back thousands of years, he thanked the leaders of several countries in the region, namely: Qatar, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the UAE, and even went as far as mentioning Iran as a potential member of this club. Assuming that all the pieces of this puzzle fall into place, what will the new Middle East look like? And if they don’t, and the Gaza war continues, what then?
