Is a second round a conflict between Israel and Iran inevitable?

Five months after Israel’s war with Iran, and with diplomacy seemingly frozen for the time being, the suspicion regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear ambitions could soon lead to a renewed round of fighting between Jerusalem and Tehran, with Washington’s role yet to be determined. The Iranians have not softened their refusal to abide by their international obligations. Some associates of Supreme Leader Khamenei talk about leaving the NPT and the IAEA and acquiring warheads from abroad. And while they may be bluffing, Israel will surely not take this on good faith. So, are the parties on the verge of round two?
